Q: Why do I need a hardened steel nozzle?
A: Carbon fiber is highly abrasive and will wear through a brass nozzle in just a few prints. Hardened steel or ruby-tipped nozzles are required.

Q: Is ABS CF more brittle than standard ABS?
A: ABS CF is stiffer but has lower elongation (3% vs ~6%). It’s rigid rather than flexible, which is ideal for structural parts but not for impact-absorbing applications.

Q: Can I print ABS CF without an enclosure?
A: Not recommended. Without an enclosure, the temperature differential causes severe warping and layer delamination.
