I’m new, show me the how to create account, please?

  1. Click “Login” on the top right of the website
    • This will bring up a login and registration page where you can input your email address
    • You can login using social media (Github & Facebook) for quick registration.
       
  2. If you choose email registration, fill up your email, a link to set a new password will be sent to your email address.
    • Please recheck your email registered
    • If you have not receive any email, check your spam mail in case it’s there.
       
  3. Click “Click here to set your new password.” in your new email
    • Here, you have to setup your new password. choose a strong one.
    • You will be taken to your Account page. Here you can update your profile if needed.
    • In the future, you can check your order history, and order status from this page.

How do I order the parts?

  1. If you already have an account, please log in to access it.
     
  2. To find the parts you need, you can use the search function located at the top of the page or browse through the categories provided.
     
  3. Once you have located the desired product, click on its image to be redirected to the product page.
     
  4. From there, you can also view the available variations and select the one that suits your needs.
     
  5. Select your amount and click “ADD TO CART
     
  6. The product will be added to your cart and popup of your cart appear.
    • You may add quantity or remove the item from your cart.
       
  7. Repeat the steps to add another product
     
  8. If you have completed the purchase, scroll up to the page and click on the shopping cart icon and click “CHECKOUT
     
  9. Once you click “CHECKOUT” it will lead you to the checkout page.
     
  10. At the checkout page, you have to provide us with this info.
    • Billing Details– The details that you want to use in the invoice
    • Delivery Details – The details that you want to use for us to ship the item
    • Delivery Method – Select the courier that you prefer or the self collect at our HQSungai Besi
    • Payment Method – Please select the preferred payment method to use on this order.
  11. Click “CONTINUE
  12. You can estimate the shipment method & fee here.
     
  13. You will be directed to the payment page

How to Claim Warranty

7 Days 1 to 1 Defective Replacement Warranty

Did you just receive your parts and it is defective. If it’s within 7 days from the date you receive it, you are eligible for 1 to 1 replacement warranty

  1. Whatsapp or Facebook Chat us with your Order ID, Order from Site, Purchase Date & Defective Item
  2. Our technical team will contact you through email to assist you with your issues as soon as possible.

Normal Carry In Warranty

  1. All products unless otherwise specified
    • 1-year warranty for manufacturing defects, only if heavy duty parts has 3 months warranty (such as Resin LCD Screen).
    • We will not make any warranties or accept any responsibility for any misuse by the user.
    • To report your product’s failure or problem, please click here.
    • It will lead you to the “After Sales Support” page. Fill up all the details and click “SEND”.
    • Our technical team will contact you to help troubleshoot and verify the problem. If the product is required to be returned, we will provide you with the warranty info.
    • Every product return must be accompanied by the warranty info, else it will not be processed.
    • It takes at least 7 working days to troubleshoot, repair and test the warranty product from the date of receiving.
       
  2. Lithium-Ion and Lithium-Polymer Batteries
    • 1-week warranty for manufacturing defects
       
  3. Electronic components or Wear & Tear Parts (such as IC, Capacitor, Crystal, Relays, Switches)
    • There is no warranty for all electronic components
    • There is no warranty for FEP Film (Resin Printer)
    • This warranty does not extend to certain parts of the 3D printer, such as nozzle modules, fans, and any components that are subject to movement.

What does this warranty not cover?

This warranty excludes coverage for user mistakes, user-inflicted damage (both deliberate and unintentional), regular wear and tear, noncompliance with operational or maintenance guidelines, cosmetic harm that doesn’t impact functionality, customer’s careless modification, disassembly, or attempted repairs, and shipping costs for warranty claims. Unauthorized service personnel’s alterations, modifications, or maintenance on the 3D printer are also not covered by this warranty.

This warranty is inapplicable to brands and models not purchased through Smith3D.

Products with invalidated manufacturer’s warranties are not covered by this warranty.

Smith3D assumes no responsibility for any additional damages or losses, such as incidental or consequential damages, and loss of income or revenue, arising from any cause, including warranty breaches or negligence.

What should I do if i want to claim warranty, can you come to my house?

Diagnosing 3D printer issues on-site can be challenging; therefore, we suggest that customers:

  • Document the problem using videos and photos, as it aids in expediting the process.
  • Use Lalamove to send the printer to us.
  • Depending on the issue, the troubleshooting & repair process can take between 1-7 working days to complete.
