Once again the new 3D printer siren blares! Say yes to more precision XY LCD Resolution, New Mono X 6K
What’s the different between Mono X & Mono X 6K?
TLDR: Bigger, Better Precision, Higher Light Transmit (aka print faster and more accurate)
Feature:
New Mono 6K Upgrade
Anycubic Photon Mono X 6K features a large 9.25″ screen that is 185% larger than the Anycubic Photon 5.5″ screen, 138% larger than a standard 6″ screen and 8% larger than the Photon Mono X 8.9″ screen. The 6K version of the Mono X has a 5760 x 3600-pixel resolution compared to the original’s 3840 x 2400, so a rather dramatic increase there.
With improvement almost over 50% of the resolutions, therefore this machine can offer really tight tolerance prints! the Photon Mono X has a 50 micron XY resolution, whereas the 6K offers a 34-micron resolution
[Sharp Edges and Corners]
An industry-leading 350:1 contrast ratio screen (75% higher than the Anycubic Photon Mono X) ensures sharp and clear edges on 3D models.
[New Light Matrix]
Within the base of the Mono X 6K, there are 40 LED lights that make up the new and improved light matrix. Supposedly this gives around a 90% light uniformity. Which is 200% higher than Anycubic Photon Mono .
Having high light transmittance makes quicker curing times.
