Introducing Bambu Lab© Cool Plate, a plate that is used in conjunction with a thin coat of glue stick to achieve maximum adhesion and works best for filaments with a low heat deflection temperature. This is achieved due to the cool plate adhesive sheet attached to one side of Bambu Lab© Engineering Plate.

Some considerations when using Bambu Lab© Cool Plate:
• Variations in the Engineering Plate’s color and shine, as well as the removal of exposed metal areas, are minor adjustments aimed at improving production efficiency and surface quality. If the nozzle retains a coating during the wiping process, it will undergo heating and melting before printing the model. These changes do not impact factors like leveling, Lidar, adhesion, or the range of applications. You can make your purchase with confidence!

• Prior to initiating auto-leveling, it is essential to repetitively wipe the nozzle within the designated area on the build plate to ensure complete removal of any residual material from the nozzle tip. Over time, the coating in this specially designed wiping area will naturally wear out. This is a normal occurrence and does not have any adverse effects on print quality or nozzle longevity, so there is no need to be concerned about quality issues.

• Bambu Lab strongly advises using only Bambu Lab’s official glue on the Cool Plate. Bambu Lab cannot be held accountable for any damage that may result from using third-party glue on the build plates.

• It is advisable to regularly clean the printing surface with dish soap and hot water to eliminate any dust or grease residue, as these can negatively affect adhesion. While IPA can also be used, the most effective method for cleaning the plate is washing it to ensure optimal performance.

• Always wait for a few minutes before removing printed models to allow the plate to cool down, facilitating easy removal. This practice prevents plate damage and extends the product’s lifespan.

• Please note that the Bambu Cool Plate is considered a consumable component and will naturally degrade over time. The warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not apply to cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or cracks. Defective sheets upon arrival are the sole exception covered by the warranty.
