Q: Is TPU Silk harder to print than regular TPU?
A: About the same difficulty. Use slower speeds, minimal retraction, and a direct drive extruder for best results.
Q: Can I use TPU Silk on a Bowden printer?
A: Yes, but print very slowly (20-30mm/s) and disable retraction to prevent buckling in the PTFE tube.
Q: Does the silk finish affect flexibility?
A: No, TPU Silk maintains excellent flexibility with 1397% elongation at break. The silk additives only affect appearance.
