Q: Does silk PLA need polishing?
A: No, eSilk PLA comes out of the printer with a gorgeous shine. No post-processing required for the metallic look.
Q: Is silk PLA as strong as regular PLA?
A: It has similar mechanical properties to standard PLA. The silk additives mainly affect appearance, not strength.
Q: Why does my silk filament look dull?
A: Try increasing print temperature slightly (215-220°C) and reducing print speed on outer walls for better shine.
